TheraSkin Case Study #3:

Diabetic patient with Wagner 2/3 foot ulcer. Wound treated for seven weeks with minimal progress. Initial diabetic wound has deep fibrous tissues exposed. Negative Pressure Wound Therapy is used with TheraGauze® as the wound interface to promote vascular tissue. TheraSkin® is applied after two weeks of NPWT, and covered with TheraGauze®. Incorporation of TheraSkin® is evident after just five days. TheraGauze® continues to be used as cover dressing with NPWT. Wound closes at week 19 at a rate of 1.8 cm2 per week, with a single TheraSkin® application and TheraGauze® as the wound cover dressing.
